Stefania Luciani is an award-winning visual artist based in Blue Bell, PA. Born in Philadelphia to Italian immigrants, she reflects her roots in her sprezzatura approach to art.
Best known for creating large-scale paintings in the spirit of sumi e brush, Stefania has exhibited her work in galleries all over the world. She has done commissions for a variety of clients including the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Stefania holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Chestnut Hill College. In addition, she studied language, literature and art history at the University of Paris and the University of Madrid. She is also a certified educator of art, Italian, French and Spanish.
An inspirational force in her community, she empowers others through public murals, mentoring, workshops and communal art events. She showcases the healing power of art as a survivor of traumatic brain injury, promoting awareness of this complex health condition.
